Real examples

What phase 3 still does not settle
- Company reported results are not independent.
- Trials describe selected people, not everyone.
- Regulators still have to review, and approval is a separate step.
Two words worth knowing
Randomized means chance decides who gets what. Placebo controlled means one group gets an inactive comparison, so effects can be compared fairly.
